My desire is that you feel supremely comfortable during your first experience with me. Please know that you are allowed to 100% be you! I want Glow to be a place where you can let everything go and just relax! Everything you share is confidential in a non-judgmental environment.
If this is your first facial please read these tips to better prepare you before and after your facial.
1. Come well hydrated and hydrate after your facial. Drinking water is very important but also hydrating with foods such as raspberries, chia seeds, romaine lettuce and cucumber.
2. If possible wear comfortable clothing that you won't mind possibly getting a little massage oil on.
3. If possible try not to plan anything after your treatment except continuing to relax.
If you have a regular exercise routine do it before your scheduled facial appointment not after.
4. Your hair will be a mess so I wouldn't plan anything like a hot date after your treatment lol.
5. Turn your cell phone off and do not engage in any social media activity 30 minutes prior to your facial. This gives your brain a chance to settle down and the ability to relax quicker.
6. Don't worry about removing your facial makeup before your appointment; I will take care of that during the cleansing portion of the facial.
7. If your facial is in the later afternoon or evening you do not have to do your regular skin regime you can simply go to bed.
8. Avoid any chemical exfoliant such as Retin-A 7 days prior and after your facial.
9. Stay out of the sun for the next 24 hours and avoid things such as a sauna or hot tub.
10. If possible do not apply any makeup unless it is a clean mineral makeup.
11. Don't schedule your facial before a big event.
If you are a new client please come 10 minutes early to your appointment. Let the receptionist know that you are a new client of mine and they will hand you a new client form to fill out. I will come down and get your from the front waiting area. There is a bathroom in the waiting area but also know there is one by my treatment room that you can use.
There are stairs that you have to climb to get my studio. There are nice handrails for you to use for your safety.
You will disrobe and put on a towel wrap on that will completely cover you. You will be under the covers. This allows me to work on the neck area freely.
I accept Cash, Card and Check. Payment of services and skincare product will be taken after your service in my studio.
The bed will be heated with a BIOMAT so if you have any issues with heat please let me know beforehand.
If you prefer to leave privately after your facial please let me know and I can let you out the back entrance.
